Yoo Seong-min, floor leader of the ruling Saenuri Party, is surrounded by reporters after leaving an emergency meeting of the party's Supreme Council at the National Assembly in Seoul on July 7, 2015. The ruling party will hold a meeting the next day and adopt a resolution recommending Yoo's resignation. Yoo has been under increasing pressure by a faction of lawmakers loyal to President Park Geun-hye to step down from his post since being publicly lambasted by Park for leading negotiations with the main opposition party on the passage of a parliamentary revision bill that would allow more assembly power in reviewing and modifying government enactment.
