Shown is Samsung Electronics Co.'s Gear Sport smartwatch. Samsung showcased the new product in Berlin on Aug. 30, ahead of the Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA), which kicks off this week. The Gear Sport comes with a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED display, with the Samsung Health application providing users with various workout-related tips. Samsung said it is the first Gear series to win waterproof approval of a 5-ATM rating, allowing users to use the products in swimming pools.
