Iran Ready To Boost Industrial Exports To Ecuador : Minister

Tehran, May 27, IRNA – Minister of Industries, Mines and Trade Mehdi Ghazanfari voiced Iran’s readiness to expand cooperation with Ecuador and increase the volume of its industrial exports to the country. Making the remark in a meeting with the Ecuadorian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Integration Ricardo Patino, Ghazanfari expressed hope that the present volume of trade between the two countries would rise once the agreements already signed are implemented. Pointing to the valuable services Iranian engineers offer in different world countries, Ghazanfari said Iran could export items such as tractors, farming machines, petrochemicals, oil equipment and dried fruits to Ecuador. He also referred to power plants projects, export of medicines, banking cooperation, setting up cement and dairy production lines as other areas of mutual cooperation. The Ecuadorian minister, for his part, voiced his country’s readiness to boost the level of bilateral relations and trade exchanges and said his government would welcome any measures which would result in enhancing cooperation with Iran./end
