Kyrgyzstan Calls For Enhanced Agricultural Co-op With Iran

Dushanbe, April 17, IRNA – Kyrgyz minister of agriculture Askarbek Janybekov on Tuesday called for cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran in the field of agriculture. He made the remarks in a meeting with Iranˈs Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Ali Najafi. He said that Kyrgyzstan has suitable situation for development of agriculture, calling for partnership of Iranian companies in Kyrgyz agricultural sector. He invited Iranian companies to participate in Ayil Agro international agricultural exhibition which is scheduled to be held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan on May 22-24. The Iranian diplomat underlined the implementation of agreements reached by the 10th Iran-Kyrgyzstan joint economic commission particularly in agricultural sector. Najafi voiced Iranˈs readiness to cooperate with Kyrgyzstan in exchanging agro products and agricultural equipment and to boost cooperation in education and research studies./end
