Special Committee Established To Boost Iran Exports To China

Tehran, July 28, IRNA – A special committee was formed to study ways to boost Iranian exports to Chinese markets, said director general of Trade Development Organization on Saturday. Talking to IRNA, Hamid Safdel said that a decision to that effect was made in a meeting of trade development working group which convened Saturday. He emphasized the need to expand cooperation with China as Iran’s commercial partner as well as the necessity to change the attitude toward China as only exporter to Iran. China should be transformed into a target market for Iranian commodities, he said, noting that it can act as a suitable market for Iranian goods such as carpets, handicrafts, precious stones and industrial goods. He said that he believes there is a capacity for multiplication of Iran’s exports to China./end
