Niavaran cultural center to host grand art expo

Tehran, Nov 10, IRNA- Tehran’s Niavaran Cultural Complex will host this year's Grand Annual Exposition of 'Haft Negah Group' (Seven perspectives) which include 400 paintings, calligraphy works and sculptures made by 350 artists. The expo is slated for Nov. 14-28, 2014. “The artistic group of Haft Negah entails seven galleries including Golestan, Arya, Vali, Elahe, Haft Samar, Dey and Mahe-Mehr. In their 7th year, seven other galleries are also invited to the event,” the spokesperson of the artistic group Lili Golestan said. “The main aim of this year's event is to boost the financial aspect of arts by inviting public buyers to purchase art works of high quality with lower prices.' Golestan expressed hope that the intention is to realize the motto ‘one piece of art for every Iranian home’. The exhibition is house to works by noted Iranian artists including Sohrab Sepehri, Aydin Aghdashlou, Parviz Tanavoli, Gholam-Hussein Nami, Iran Doroudi, Nasrullah Afje’e, Farideh Lashaei, Mohammad Ehsaei, and many other artists./end
