Cultural attachés, envoys to attend Research Week’s tech market

Tehran, Dec 9, IRNA - The 15th Exhibition of Technological and Research Achievements of Iran will be attended by 30 cultural attachés and envoys of foreign countries, secretary of the expo’s tech market said on Monday. Talking at the expo’s press conference, Majid Motaghi-talab, said: “A total of 24 tech and scientific parks, 7 universities, 12 private companies, 6 research centers, 6 investment funds and 9 institutes of commercialization services will participate in the expo, slated for Dec. 14-17.” “Iranian companies based in Germany and Italy, active in the field of economics and technology, will also be attending the expo. A group from Turkey, as an investor, will also attend the event with which Iran will seal agreements”, he added. “30 cultural attaches and ambassadors of foreign countries, residing in Iran, will be attending the fair as well.” “A day has been chosen for every major ministry including the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Ministry of Agriculture Jihad as well as Ministry of Industries and Business in which an expert of the ministry will visit the event and talk about their needs.” The expo will hold 12 educational workshops in the fields of the basics of technology, commercialization and future studies./end
