Japanese Tourist Dies In Diving Tragedy In Bali

Denpasar, Bali, Aug 28 (ANTARA) � Thirty-four-year-old Japanese tourist Ai Tanaka, who went missing after diving at Crystal Bay, Nusa Penida, Bali, was found dead on Monday. "Her body was found at a depth of 43 metres at the diving location on Monday at 5:40 pm local time," said Ketut Ardana, a Denpasar Search and Rescue (SAR) Operation team member, here on Tuesday. Tanaka`s body was floating when it was spotted by a diver from the Denpasar SAR Operation team. Her remains were later sent to Sanglah Hospital in Denpasar. Tanaka was reported missing some time after she went diving, with 13 other tourists, in the Nusa Penida waters on Sunday (August 26) at around 12:30 am local time. However, everybody except her returned to the boat.
