Qatari emir felicitates advent of Ramadan to president-elect

Tehran, July 11, IRNA – Qatar new Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, in a telephone call on Wednesday evening, felicitated Iran’s President-elect Hassan Rohani on the avvent of fasting Month of Ramadan. He also felicitated Rohani on his election as new president of Iran and expressed his interest in Iran. The president-elect, for his part, wished success for nation and government of Qatar and also felicitated the emir on the fasting month of Ramadan. Rohani, by appreciating Sheikh Tamim for his call, said that Ramadan is the month of blessing and friendship and expressed hope that the Almighty God helps to establish peace and tranquility among Muslims of the region. The two sides also underlined strengthening and development of relations between the two countries.
