Supported by KSrelief, 446 People Benefit from Services of Artificial Limbs Center in Seiyun, Yemen in March

Seiyun, Yemen, April 20, 2022, SPA – The artificial limbs center project in Seiyun Governorate, Yemen, supported by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), continued offering its various medical services for those Yemenis who lost their limbs. During March, a total of 4,883 services were offered to 446 beneficiaries, 67% of them were males and 33% were females, while 16% of them were displaced people and 84% were residents. The services included manufacturing, installing and rehabilitating artificial limbs for 141 patients, including the delivery, measuring and maintenance of limbs, in addition to offering physiotherapy services to 305 beneficiaries, including physiotherapy sessions and specialized consultations. This project is one of KSrelief's sustainable humanitarian interventions, and plays a big impact on helping several people to compensate for their limbs they had lost and receive necessary treatment to enable them integrate in the society again. --SPA
