BRICS aims to reach common goals, not directed against anybody - Kremlin spokesman

UFA, July 9. /TASS/. BRICS aims to reach common goals, not to confront other organizations, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists on Thursday. "Cooperation between all member countries in the framework of BRICS is not directed against anybody, but rather aims to reach higher goals," Peskov said. He refused to comment on reports that Brazil’s rapprochement with US allegedly "tears away" the country from BRICS. "The issue of Brazil’s relations with US is not the type of question that is appropriate for me to comment. Our Brazilian partners or American partners should be asked about this," he stressed. However, Peskov added, it is only natural that Brazil and US are developing their bilateral relations. Read more
