Envoy: Iran-Hamas In The Same Front Against Zionism

Tehran, Dec 12, IRNA – Hamas representative in Tehran said that relations between Iran and Hamas are strategic, adding that now is not time of dispute in programs, because there is a joint plan to vanish the Zionist regime. Khalid Qadoumi, Hamas representative in Tehran, in the closing ceremony of the international meeting of 'University professors and Islamic Awakening ' here on Tuesday afternoon said regional nations uprisings to get rid of dictatorship and autocracy is undoubtedly Islamic awakening. He added that revolutionary nations are tired of the West and East hegemonic powers and they have chosen moderate Islam to follow. Referring to the 8-day war of the Zionist regime against residents of Gaza, Qadoumi said that support of the Islamic Ummah for Gaza people in this war was very good and Iran with its money and weapons supported Palestinians while Turkey and other countries supported Palestinians in other ways. The envoy said that Hamas is a liberation movement, which follows moderate Islam. He added that Hamas leaders have declared that they do not recognize the Zionist regime./end
