FM: Iran-5+1 Document Focuses On Iran’s Right For Uranium Enrichment

Geneva, Nov 24, IRAN – Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said the document signed by Iran and the 5+1 member states focuses on Iran’s right for uranium enrichment. The foreign minister made the remark while asked by IRNA to comment on efforts by certain media and press to pretend that the nuclear document signed by Iran and the 5+1 failed to recognize Iran’s uranium enrichment rights. Zarif stated that as he had repeatedly said, the document recognizes Iran’s right for uranium enrichment which has been stated in the Non-Proliferation Treaty as inalienable right and believes that any solution has to entail this focal point. He advised the countries which used to exert pressures on Iran for its peaceful nuclear program to stop doing so because now Iran’s right for nuclear enrichment is clearly stated in the document. Zarif reiterated that the press and media disinformation could never stop implementation of the document./end
