Gov't Pleased With Parliament Support: Nahavandian

Tehran, Aug 20, IRNA – The government is pleased with the Parliaments support and vote of confidence for new ministers, Presidential Chief of Staff Mohammad Nahavandian said on Monday. Nahavandian made the remarks on the sidelines of inauguration ceremony of Caretaker Education Minister, Ali-Asghar Fani. He told reporters that the lawmakers performance in vetting the proposed ministers indicated that they had taken advice of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei about helping the government. He noted that the Parliaments support will help the government serve the nation and fulfill what President Rohani pledged in his presidential campaign./end
