IAEA Urged To Be More Careful While Dealing With Iran

Tehran, Feb 13, IRNA -- Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) advised the International Atomic Energy Agency officials to be more careful while dealing with Tehran. Fereydoun Abbasi Davani said the IAEA security system is not safe enough. Whenever the IAEA inspectors were present in Iran, secret information on the country had been leaked outside, said the official, urging the IAEA officials to be more careful. The talks between both sides should focus on building confidence and removing ambiguities, Abbasi Davani said while referring to negotiations between representatives of Iran and G5+1 to be held Wednesday. On the media campaign launched by hegemonic powers against Iranˈs research programs, the official said the countryˈs Atomic Energy Organization is conducting its activities under the supervision of the IAEA. He reiterated that Iran uses nuclear energy for peaceful purposes that include generation of electricity and treatment of patients and development of agriculture. He then stressed all those activities are being carried out on the basis of international regulations. Turning to Bushehr power plant, Abbasi Davani said that Iranian experts are expected to launch the plant temporarily to make sure of its safety./end
