Implementation Of Geneva Deal Depends On Reaching Agreement On Remaining Issues: Araqchi

Tehran, Jan 6, IRNA - Deputy Foreign Minister and a member of Irans nuclear negotiating team Abbas Araqchi said on Sunday that implementation of the Geneva deal depends on reaching a common understanding on the remaining issues. Addressing a press conference, Araqchi underlined that he is to meet deputy EU foreign policy chief Helga Schmid this week. He said January 20 has been proposed for implementing the Geneva agreement and the two sides are making preparations for it. If the two sides reach an agreement this weekend, January 20 will be probably fixed as the date for implementation of the deal, Araqchi noted. However, he added that he was not in the position to confirm the date./end
