Indian Religious Scholar Urges US To Punish Producer Of Anti-Islam Film

New Delhi, Oct 6, IRNA – India’s renowned religious scholar Friday demanded the US to punish the producers of anti-Islam film. “Destroy the anti-Islam film 'Innocence of Muslims' produced in US and punish the producer and co-producer at the earliest,” demanded Maulana Dr.Mufti M.Mukarram Ahmed in his Friday Sermon at historical Fatehpuri Mosque here. Terming the film as an “intolerable crime”, he condemned the blasphemous movie which had hurt the sentiments of the Muslims across the world. Mukarram further demanded President Barak Obama to pressurize authorities to destroy the movie which is stirring chaos and hurting Muslim sentiments. A 14-minute trailer for the video titled “Innocence of Muslims,” was uploaded on the internet depicting Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) in a derogatory manner. According to media reports, the video is a brain child of a 52-year old Israeli-American, Sam Bacile who had received a donation of $5 million from 100 Jewish donors to make a movie called “Islam is Cancer.” The film had sparked fury among Muslims around the globe./end
