Iran World’s Second Producer Of Helicopter Flight Simulator : Commander

Tehran, May 5, IRNA – Commander of the Army’s Ground Forces Brigadier General Ahmadreza Pourdastan said Iran is the worldˈs second producer of helicopter 214 flight simulator. Making the remark on the sideline of a ceremony to unveil the flight simulator, Pourdastan said that the simulator which enjoys very high capabilities will be used in training courses. With production of such simulators by Iranian engineers, the Islamic Republic is capable of training students from other regional countries. The commander noted that the army used to have only static simulators in the past but now produces and uses dynamic ones. Asked to comment on Syrian situation, he said the Syrian army which enjoys years of defense experiences against the Zionist regime is fully capable of defending itself and needs no foreign forces. He reiterated that Iran as a friend of Damascus is ready to offer trainings to Syria but will never play an active role in the operations./end
