Larijani: Iran Will Give Crushing Response To Any Attack On Nuclear Installations

Khartoum, Jan 23, IRNA – Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said on Tuesday that since Iranˈs peaceful nuclear program is of indigenous origin, it cannot be destroyed by any attack and Iran will give a crushing response to any aggression. He made the remarks in a news meeting with Sudanese media in response to a question if Iran could defend its nuclear installations. Economic pressures will have no impact on Iranˈs nuclear program and it will continue its path seriously, he noted. Asked about the concern voiced by Kuwaiti representative to Islamic Inter-Parliamentary Union meeting about the radiations of Bushehr nuclear plant, Larijani said that Iranˈs nuclear technology conforms to the International Atomic Energy Agencyˈs standards and there is no reason to worry about the safety issues./end
