Larijani: Situation In Islamic World, Sensitive

Khartoum, Jan 23, IRNA – Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said that situation in Islamic world is sensitive which means that problems must be dealt with carefully and wisely, so the outcome benefits Islamic Ummah. Speaking in the closing ceremony of the 8th Inter-parliamentary Meeting of Islamic states, Larijani expressed hope that the meeting would make Islamic countries closer to each other and pave way to strengthen Islamic states. He went on to say that holding such a meeting in a country which is a symbol of resistance sends an important message. ˈI hope that all participants try not to create an opportunity for certain western countries which do not follow interests of the Muslims.ˈ Larijani expressed hope that the meeting would strengthen unity among Islamic Ummah and expand brotherhood among Muslim states./end
