Lebanese Min.: Geneva Talks Put Seal Of Approval On Peaceful Nature Of Iran’s N-program

Beirut, Nov 12, IRNA -- A Lebanese cabinet Minister, and state minister Ali Ghansu said on Monday that the good performance of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Geneva talks proved the country’s legitimate rights in benefiting from peaceful nuclear energy. Speaking to reporters, he referred to recent talks between Iran and G5+1 and praised Iran for its admirable stand to vindicate its legitimate rights of making use of nuclear energy. Iran was the winner of the Geneva talks as powerfully defended its peaceful nuclear rights, he said adding that the western governments have got the belief that the economic sanctions on Iran are arbitrary and unfair. Referring to the humanitarian plight in Syria, he said that success of the Syrian government to restore law and order against invasion of the western-backed terrorists paves the way to resolve the Syrian crisis through political means. He said that the Geneva 2 Conference on Syria will certainly be held as the international community has deeply understood the danger of terrorist groups. Clinching a deal at Geneva 2 Conference on Syria is not the end of the story as the cleanup of Lebanon soil from the terrorist groups is time consuming, he said./end
