Nahavandian upbeat about clinching a nuclear deal

Bushehr, Jan 16, IRNA – Chief of staff of Presidential Office Mohammad Nahavandian on Wednesday expressed optimism about a nuclear deal being reached in the course of talks with the six governments. Speaking during a meeting with economic activists of the southern province of Bushehr, Nahavandian said that the government has chosen the path of rapprochement with the outside world and that there is much hope that nuclear talks will bear fruit. All the negotiating parties are waiting for an outcome that would benefit everyone, Nahavandian said. Once reached, a nuclear deal would first benefit the economy, Nahavandian added. He said that most of the countries across the world are getting prepared for restoration of economic relations with Iran. Nahavandian said that Iranian businesspersons must get prepared for active presence in the global markets. President Hassan Rouhani said in his election campaign that the Government of Prudence and Hope will take diplomatic initiative to lift the western sanctions on Iran. He assigned Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif to go ahead with nuclear talks with the western governments.
