Peace Activist Lauds Freedom Of Religious Minorities In Iran

Isfahan, May 15, IRNA - A member of global peace council here on Wednesday praised freedom of followers of various religious minorities in Iran. Speaking to IRNA, Yousef Morteza said the Islamic Republic of Iran can be considered as an appropriate model for all world countries with regards to observation of rights of religious minorities. He underlined the need for all-out cooperation among followers of all religions across the globe. As to the upcoming presidential elections in Iran, he reiterated that the Islamic Republic enjoys a good record of establishing democracy particularly religious democracy. He called for further expansion of Iran-Lebanon relations in all areas./end
