Russian, Georgian envoys to meet in Prague next week

MOSCOW, July 8. /TASS/. The Russian and Georgian special envoys for the restoration of bilateral relations will meet in Prague on July 15, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday following the phone talks of the two diplomats. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin and Zurab Abashidze, the Georgian prime minister’s envoy for relations with Russia, have "discussed a number of practical issues of bilateral Russian-Georgian relations, including preparations for the July 15 meeting in Prague," the ministry said. A first meeting between Abashidze and Karasin took place in Geneva in 2012. After that the two diplomats held eigth meetings in Prague. Read more
