S. Leader Addresses NAM Summit

Tehran, Aug 30, IRNA – The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei here on Thursday delivered a speech at the 16th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM). The Supreme Leader is accompanied by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Chairman of the Expediency Council Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, Head of Experts Assembly Ahmad Janati, Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani, Judiciary Chief Sadeq Amoli Larijani and a number of other senior offcials of the country. Secretary-General of the United Nation Ban Ki-moon, President of Egypt Mohamed Mursi, Special Envoy of the Saudi King Abdulaziz bin Abdullah al-Saud, Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, President of Pakistan Yusuf Ali Zardari and Lebanese President Michel Sulaiman are also participating in the Summit. Prime Minister of Syria Wael Nader al-Halqi and the country's Foreign Minister Walid al-Muallem are also attending the meeting. Iran is to receive rotating presidency of the NAM from Egyptian president during the Summit./end
