Six Iran Embassy Guards Attain Martyrdom In Beirut Bomb Explosions

Beirut, Nov 20, IRNA - Six guards protecting the Iranian embassy in Beirut were martyred in two separate bomb explosions near the embassy, according to an informed source. Rezvan Fars known as Haj Reza who was in charge of embassy security and bodyguard of the Iranian ambassador in Beirut is among martyrs. A terrorist group “Abdullah Azzam” affiliated to Al-Qaeda claimed responsibility for the blasts. Some 23 people attained martyrdom and 146 others were injured in the bomb blasts. Iran’s cultural attaché to Beirut Ebrahim Ansari sustained heavy injuries due to the blast./end
