Talks With Iran To Be Fulfilled After Recognition Of Tehran's Nuclear Rights : IAEO Head

Tehran, Oct 20, IRNA – Head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization (IAEO) Fereydoon Abbasi has said nuclear talks between Iran and the 5+1 member states would, definitely, be fulfilled after recognition of Tehran's nuclear rights. Speaking to IRNA, Abbasi recalled a recent statement made by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei who had said, despite western media's repeated false reports, it was not Iran who had left the talks table. Tehran would continue negotiations, Abbasi said adding that Iran has recently held a series of meetings at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). No specific problem was on the way of continuation of Iran's talks with western states, Abbasi stressed. Meanwhile, Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov has recently said that new round of talks between Iran and the Group 5+1 (The US, UK, France, Russian and China plus Germany) would be held in November. The Russian official did not referred to the exact time or venue of the talks but noted that it would not be held in Moscow./end
