Beirut, Nov 8, IRNA – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said the Zionist regime posed the greatest threat not only to the region but the whole humanity. Zarif: Zionist regime a danger to whole world Meeting with a number of Palestinian groups residing in Lebanon here on Tuesday, he said the most regretful issue about the Islamic and Arab world was that certain groups were trying to understate the threat while Palestinian groups have to be confident that the world will never forget the danger of the Zionist regime. He said the issue of Palestine will continue to remain the most important issue of the Islamic world till establishment of stability there. The foreign minister underscored that the Iranian policy since the victory of the Islamic revolution in 1979 was to support Palestine, adding that both the Iranian Supreme Leader and other officials are bravely following the policy. One century after the shameful Balfour Declaration, the world is still battling with the Zionist regime as a creation of colonialism which is behind all threats against peace, security and human rights violations across the globe, he added. Possessing over 200 nuclear warheads, Zarif stressed, the Zionist regime poses the greatest threat to the world by violating all international regulations and human rights. He noted that Takfiri terrorists who have filled the region with fire and blood do nothing against the Zionist regime. He said unity and solidarity inside the Islamic world should be enhanced to support the Palestinian nation and confront the threat of Zionism. 1378/IRNA
