Zionists Unable To Take Military Action Against Iran: Envoy

Beirut, March 11, IRNA – Iran's Ambassador to Lebanon said n Saturday that the Zionists are not able to take any military action against Iran, and if they make such a mistake, they will receive a crushing response. Addressing a panel discussion themed ‘Role of Iran in Regional Developments in Future’, Ghazanfar Roknabadi referred to the waves of Islamic Awakening sweeping the region and explained Iran’s stances on current developments taking place in the region. Given the fact that Islamic awakening has sweeped the entire region, Iran’s role will not be limited to the region and thanks to its high cultural, scientific, historic and economic capacities, it will assume a global role. Referring to the links between the ideals of Iran and the slogans chanted by the regional nations, he also said that Iran views the developments from the angle of Islam and Qur’an and not from the national or tribal perpective. The future of the regional developments will benefit the oppressed nations, he said, inviting all nations to keep their unity, vigilance and adherence to the principles of their revolutions./end
