Iran Cardiovascular Surgeries Conducted On Intˈl Standards

Tehran, Feb 5, IRNA – A member of European Society of Cardiology said all Iranˈs cardiovascular surgeries are conducted in accordance with international standards. Talking to IRNA, Iranian cardiac surgeon Ali Sadeq Pour Tabaei said Iranian cardiovascular surgeons are highly professional, adding Iran enjoys proper hospital facilities for treatment of cardiovascular patients. According to the World Health Organization statistics, the mortality rate after cardiovascular surgery is 2 to 5 percent, but the figure is 2 to 3 percent in Iran, the surgeon added./end
