Baku 2017 celebrates 50 days to go

Baku, March 23, AZERTAC Baku 2017 celebrated the start of the 50 days to go countdown to the Opening Ceremony of Islamic Solidarity Games within Grassroots Program in Baku Boulevard. Athlete Ambassadors: Rasul Junayev, Kamran Shahsuvarli, Leyla Javadova, Aynur Rzayeva, Celebrity Ambassadors: Haji Nuran Huseynov, Tunzala Agayeva, Rafael Isgandarov and Joshgun Rahimov, and Baku 2017 Mascots Inje and Jasur came together to mark 50 days to go to the Islamic Solidarity Games. The event consisted of 2 parts aimed to gather young and active sport fans together and spread “healthy lifestyle” message to the masses with an open-air sport session with Athlete Ambassadors. This session raised interest among the participants. They have enjoyed training with professional athletes and were full of energy. Besides sports sessions, the official partners and supporter companies of the Baku 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games including: BP, Red Bull, Milla, Fresco and iTicket were represented at the event. For instance, during the event all participants were distributed Red Bull’s energy drinks and dairy products by Milla company. In addition, the winners of the contest were awarded with prizes from Fresco supermarkets chain. Whole information about tickets to Baku 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games, including sporting sessions, Opening and Closing Ceremonies was presented at iTicket stand. Furthermore, the event became significant as Celebrity Ambassador Tunzala Agayeva presented “Hello Baku- Anthem of Volunteers” and sung it on stage with Baku 2017 Volunteers. Athlete Ambassador, Rasul Chunayev emphasized: "I am happy to participate in projects within the Grassroots Program, aimed to involve the youth in sports. There is not much time left to the Games so all of us should be ready.”
