Finance Minister Addresses Competitiveness Forum

Riyadh, Jan. 24, 2010, SPA -- Finance Minister, Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz
Al-Assaf pointed out here today that the world will witness this year a
breakthrough of the current financial crisis due to economic incentive packages
adopted by a number of states, stressing the importance of structural reforms
conducive to sustainable development.

In his speech at the beginning of the 4th International Competitiveness Forum
sessions taking place in Riyadh today, he said that the Kingdom has been among
the least affected countries by the crisis impact, due to a precautionary plan
set to deal with the crisis in the long term. Concentrating on decreasing
inflation rates, is the most important task for monetary flow, he said.
