Border Guard foils Hashish smuggling attempt in Najran Region

Najran, Saudi Arabia, January 24, 2010, SPA -- The Commander of the Border
Guard in Najran Region Brigadier General Abdulrahman Al-Shihri said today that
the patrols of the Border Guard have recently foiled an attempt to smuggle a
quantity of hashish into Najran Region.

He also said that a group of people were arrested while trying to smuggle 50
kilograms of hashish on foot through the mountainous areas.
