Doosan Heavy wins 859 bln won order from India

SEOUL, Jan. 25 (Yonhap) -- Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction Co., South
Korea's biggest power-equipment maker, said Monday it has received a 859 billion
won (US$755 million) order from India.

Under the deal with Doosan Projects India PVT, Doosan Heavy will provide
equipment for a coal power plant in Raipur, India, the company said.
Shares of Doosan Heavy were trading at 96,000 won on the Seoul bourse as of 9:26
a.m., up 1.69 percent.
