Prince Khalid Al-Faisal Meets Arab League Secretary General

Cairo, January 25, 2010, SPA -- Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, the
Governor of Makkah Region and President of Arab Thought Foundation has met with
Secretary General of the Arab League Amr Moussa.


In a statement following the meeting, Prince Khalid Al-Faisal said that the
Arab Thought Foundation has submitted a proposal for convening an Arab Cultural
Summit similar to the Arab Economic Summit, noting that he conveyed to Moussa
the desire of Arab intellectuals for the convention of this Summit.


The Prince added that the idea has received considerable praise from everyone
and that a team will be formed to study and set a working program for it, but
it is still within the framework of crystallization.


He indicated that the Foundation has mobilized all its potentialities for this
idea and its success and for its transformation from an idea into a program and
a reality.
