Defense Ministry continues patronage program "Army for Children"

Astana, 20 June 2008, Khabar - Military units and departments of the
ministry patronize 40 orphanages in different regions. Minister Danial
Akhmetov visited Akmola orphanage. Children showed him classrooms,
linguaphone cabinet, gym, library and ethnographic museum.

Exhibition of pictures and concert were organized for the patrons. This year 6 pupils of
orphanage expressed their wish to become military men in future. They will
enter the cadet corps "Zhas Ulan" under the Defense Ministry.

Danial Akhmetov, Defense Minister of RK:
- We will agitate the military service. I think that most of children will
follow the example of their friends will also want to become military man.
