Chinese Vice President to participate in Jeddah meeting for oil

Beijing, June 20, SPA--Chinese Vice President XI Jinping will
participate in a meeting of oil producers and consumers to be hosted
by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Jeddah next Sunday to discuss rise
in oil prices.

The Chinese People newspaper quoted today the Foreign Ministry
as saying that China hopes through enhancement of dialogue and
coordination that the parties participating in this conference can
better cope with the challenges caused by high oil prices for the
world economy.
