Saudi Chambers Council Hails Private Sector`s Provision of Spare Parts to Ministry of Defense

Riyadh, February 10, 2010, SPA -- The Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and
Industry has expressed its appreciation of the Ministry of Defense and Aviation
and Inspection-General for providing an opportunity to Saudi business private
sector to participate in manufacturing nearly 14,000 equipment and spare parts
for the Armed Forces.


In a press statement, the Council's Chairman Saleh Kamel called on Saudi
businessmen and CEO's of Saudi companies and factories to visit the Exhibition
of the Armed Forces scheduled to be organized by the Ministry of Defense next
Saturday to be briefed on the specifications of the equipment and spare parts
required by the Armed Forces.


He pointed out that the participation of the private sector in the
manufacturing of equipment and supplies for the Armed Forces will support the
growth of national economy and industrial sector.
