Humax sells Freeview TV box in Britain

SEOUL, Feb. 17 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's Humax Co. said Wednesday it has started
selling a set-top box that allows viewers in Britain to see high-definition
digital TV programs.
The set-top box enables viewers to download high-definition TV programs from the
Internet through their televisions. Britain launched the Freeview TV service last
year.
Humax claimed the Freeview TV box, the HD-FOX T2, was the first product of its
kind to be made commercially available.
The new TV box went on sale last week at the John Lewis outlet in London before a
nationwide launch, Humax said.
