King to Patronize Riyadh International Book Fair

Riyadh, February 20, 2010, SPA -- Under the patronage of the Custodian of the
Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Riyadh International Book
Fair for this year, will be inaugurated here on March 2.


In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) the Undersecretary of Ministry
of Culture and Information for Information Affairs, and the Fair's General
Supervisor Dr. Abdullah Al-Jasser said that the Minister of Culture and
Information, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja has been following with interest
and on a daily basis the final arrangements for inauguration of the Fair that
will be a cultural forum reflecting cultural development in the Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia.


He noted that the Ministry has invited a group of writers and intellectuals
from the Kingdom and abroad to attend the inaugural ceremony of Riyadh
International Book Fair, expressing his appreciation for the Saudi leadership
for supporting this annual event.
