Kazakhstan-Russia: road map

Almaty, June 26 (Khabar) - Round-table meeting with participation of political scientists, scientists and public figures of two countries was held in Almaty.
They spoke about modern condition of cooperation of Kazakhstan and Russia and deepening of relations. Recommendations of experts will be discussed during the forum of frontier regions.
It is held once a year with participation of heads of states. The experts think the relations are developed very actively at state level but not at the social one.
Kirill Tanayev, general director of Fund of effective policy (Russia): - Serious movements, breakthrough at the state level must be added with expanding of relations between two societies, experts, youth and educational establishments, business structures. When the processes of the state and society will be united, we can achieve greater and best quality of relations between two countries.
Questions arise because of lack of information, say political scientists.
But in general, level of interaction of two states is successful. The countries have mutually profitable decisions almost on all the issues of bilateral cooperation. But it is necessary to activate joint efforts in science, education and business for more effective interaction, say the participants.
Bektas Mukhamedzhanov, executive director of Fund of first president of RK: - Issues of development of Russian-Kazakhstani business are developed not very actively, and there are few of joint enterprises in comparison with integration of our economies. 70% of Kazakhstan's export to CIS is to Russia and many Russian enterprises are interested in processing of raw material that Kazakhstan obtains.
Experts also discussed migration, frontier cooperation, energy and transport issues. At the end of meeting they elaborated recommendations that will be taken into account while signing of official documents. It was suggested to hold such meetings regularly and create constantly functioning discussion ground.
