ANEKA TAMBANG TO CALL TENDER FOR CGA PROJECT
Pontianak, Indonesia, March 4 (ANTARA) - Mining firm PT Aneka Tambang will soon call a tender for the construction of a chemical grade alumina (CGA) project at Tayan in West Kalimantan province.
"The project will be put to tender soon," the company's senior manager for corporate strategic development, Hari Widjajanto, said on Thursday.
He said if the tender ran smoothly the project could be started in 2011.
It would take three years to complete the project, he said.
PT Indonesia Chemical Alumina, PT Aneka Tambang's subsidiary, along with Japan's Showa Denco KK (SDK) and Marubeni Corporation, has formed a consortium to operate the CGA project.***
