Jakarta, March 11 (ANTARA) - The government was still preparing economic talks between Indonesia and the United States in the context of US President Barack Obama's upcoming visit to Indonesia.

"The economic discussions are still being prepared by the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs and the Foreign Minister," Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati said at her office here Thursday.

She said the government was preparing several important points on which agreements might be reached in the discussions.
Earlier, American businessmen had expressed their interest in continuing investment in Indonesia, such as in food security, oil and gas, logistics, railroad tracks, locomotives and the automotive industry.

President Obama was scheduled to make a state visit to Indonesia from March 20 to 22, 2010.
