Germany to host Iran’s Bismillah exhibit
TEHRAN, Apr. 6 (MNA) -- Germany’s University of Oldenburg is to host a selection of Iranian poster, calligraphy and logotype on the theme of Bismillah this year.
The works will be selected from the six previous editions of Bismillah festivals held so far in the country, said director of the upcoming 7th edition of the festival Mohammadreza Kamareii.
“We intend to export our spiritual art from Iran to other countries. The artworks selected were previously displayed in six countries last year,” Kamareii added.
There are also plans to display the selected works in the Organization of Islamic Countries’ (OIC) member states as well, he remarked.
Kamareii further noted that the organizers are negotiating with the University of Oxford and hopefully, the works will go on exhibit at the university.
The 7th edition of the event will open this year.
