Festival of instrumental music "River of Sounds"
Astana, 7 July 2008, Khabar - Festive week in Astana was rich with cultural events. "River of Sounds" festival was one of most important actions.
Best soloists and ensembles of Kazakhstan performed for 5 evenings. They played symphonic, chamber and jazz music. The concert was ended with concert of Kazakh traditional music in modern arrangement. Stars Batyrkhan Shukenov, Asylbek Yensepov, "Saz Otau" duet, "Ulytau" groups played for people.
The concerts were on Yesil embankment and stage was set up on water. There was laser show and dancing fountains also. Pver 7 000 people visited concerts.
"River of Sounds" festival became the invaluable gifts for Astana residents and guests.
