Hyundai Mobis opens logistics center in Egypt

SEOUL, April 27 (Yonhap) -- Hyundai Mobis Co., South Korea's largest auto-parts
maker, said Tuesday it opened a logistics center north of Egypt to help meet
increasing demand for auto parts in African nations.
The new logistics center in the major Egyptian port city of Alexandria aims to
generate sales of US$70 million this year and about $200 million in 2016, Hyundai
Mobis said in a statement.
Hyundai Mobis is an affiliate of Hyundai Motor Co., South Korea's top automaker.
Demand for auto parts is increasing in Africa as the continent purchases more
vehicles made by Hyundai Motor and its affiliate Kia Motors Corp., the statement
said.
