PERDASAMA KL FORGES TIES WITH KOREAN COUNTERPART




KUALA LUMPUR, April 27 (Bernama) -- The Kuala Lumpur Chapter of the Malay
Businessmen and Industrialists Association of Malaysia (Perdasama KL) Tuesday
signed a memorandum of understanding with its Korean counterpart in Malaysia to
explore joint business opportunities.

Perdasama KL Vice President Mohd Fauzi Zakaria said the partnership
with the International Network of Korean Entrepreneurs (INKE) Malaysia signifies
a concreate step in fostering closer co-operation between Malay and Korean
entrepreneurs.

Through the partnership, he said, members of both organisations would
explore business ventures together and bring prosperous business relationships
within the network.

"Going forward, we plan to organise business missions to Korea to explore
business opportunities in the technology sector in the country," he told
reporters after the signing ceremony, held in conjunction with Perdasama KL's
Ninth Annual General Meeting here.

INKE Malaysia Chairman Eric Baek Seung Ryul said the partnership provides a
platform for both parties to introduce and further promote their products in
both markets.

"I strongly believe that this partnership will provide greater benefits and
opportunities for both parties," he said.

INKE is a global network of overseas Korean entrepreneurs and other business
leaders in the high-tech industry who are particularly interested in promoting
business using the INKE platform.
