PT TIMAH BOOKS FIRST QUARTER NET PROFIT OF RP 141.8 BILLION THIS YEAR

Jakarta, 30 April 2010 (ANTARA) - State tin mining company PT Timah reported its operational performance and unaudited consolidated financial report and those of its subsidiary for the period ending on March 31, 2010.

In the report, the company booked a net profit of Rp141.8 billion, 882 percent higher than Rp 14.4 billion in last year's corresponding period.

This raised its net profit from Rp3 per share in the first quarter of last year to Rp28 per share in this year's first quarter.
