A farewell to the USSR People's actress Nonna Mordyukova
Almaty, 10 July 2008, Khabar - A farewell to the People's actress of the Soviet Union, Nona Mordyukova has taken place in Moscow where she who was buried at the Kun-tsev cemetery alongside her son Vladimir. Nonna Mordyukova was widely recognized as one of the 10 most outstanding actresses of the 20th century and she wrote about her life in her memoirs called "Do not cry Cozachka".
Her second book entitled "Cozachka. the Sequel" was never finished. Nonna Mordyukova was the daughter of a soldier and farmer and after school, she entered the Russian state cinematography institute and at her entrance examination, instead of performing a role from literature, she talked about life on a collective farm. Two years after graduation, she had a role in Sergei Gerasimov's film "the Young Guard" and later starred in "the Return of Vasili Bortnikov", "Another's relatives", "Simple story", and"Chairman".
Later directors saw that she was talented as a comedian and she was filmed in such films as "Bal'zaminov's marriage", "Uncle's dream", "Thirty three"and "Brilliant arms".
She also starred in such films as "the Russian field", "no way back", Sergei Bondarchuk's epic work "fighting for the homeland", Georgi Chukhrai's film"Marsh", "Lev Gurych Sinichkin" and "Relatives" by Nikita Mikhalkov.
In Kazakhstan, Nonna Mordyukova starred in Talgat Temenov's film "Runningtarget" about the December uprising in the country.
Talgat Temenev, People's actor, RK: - Nonna Mordyukova came to Dzhambyl at a very hard time for her, after her son's funeral. I remember when we arrived at one settlement and people there recognized her and brought her milk, sour cream and bread and then she said that the Kazakh nation is very generous. I'll never forget those words. She recovered a little In Kazakhstan from her grief and said that working onthis film gave her a second life.
She said this film gave her much here.
