Crowd forces way into Kyrgyzstan's regional administration building.

BISHKEK, May 13 (Itar-Tass) - A crowd of about one hundred people
broke into the building of the Jalalabad region administration on
Thursday, demanding reinstatement of former governor Paizula Rakhmanov.
According to various estimates, a rally of supporters of former
President Kurmanbek Bakiyev in front of the building gathered 500 to 2,000
people.
Meanwhile, confrontation continues between the supporters and
opponents of the provisional government in the republic's second largest
city of Osh.
Latest reports aid the supporters of the old government are in the
building of the regional administration, while their opponents gathered on
the square. Police are standing between the conflicting sides as a live
cordon. Sporadic clashes were reported. Both groups insist on the
appointment of the governor of their choice.
On Thursday, Kyrgyzstan's provisional government appointed acting
Defense Minister Ismail Isakov its special representative for the south of
the republic. His main objective is to normalize the situation. The
administration of the provisional government told Itar-Tass Isakov had
already flown to the south of the country.
